The UK Global Talent Visa is a residence visa for internationally recognised or emerging leaders in arts, culture, architecture, science, technology, and academia.
It allows talented professionals to live and work in the UK without employer sponsorship and offers a direct route to settlement.
Exceptional Talent — for established experts and recognised leaders in their field.
The visa is granted for up to 3 years, with eligibility for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
Exceptional Promise — for early-career professionals and emerging leaders with strong potential.
The visa is granted for up to 5 years, with eligibility for ILR.
The visa is granted in two stages:
1) Endorsement by an approved UK endorsing body (such as Arts Council England, RIBA, PACT)
2) Visa application to the UK Home Office
